Kiryu Aikido Colorado Dojo Moves to New Facility – September 1, 2016

We’re excited to share great news about our dojo’s move to a new location. And while the facility itself is great, it’s the people we’ll be working with that is the most exciting part of the transition. 2507475468_914067cc93

Starting on September 1, 2016, Kiryu Aikido will be located within Otomi Martial Arts, 10441 S. Parker Rd, Parker, CO 80134. www.otomimartialarts.com

Kiryu Aikido Senior Instructor Les Steveson Sensei will be primary instructor. The new class schedule is:

  • *Wednesdays: 7:00 – 8:30 pm
  • *Fridays: 6:30 – 8:30 pm
  • *Sundays: by invitation/RSVP

The Otomi dojo owners, Ranulfo and Kim Gonzales, are passionate about martial arts and the benefits they can instill. Our dojos share a common mindset and commitment to strong, safe, enjoyable practice in a supportive environment.

Our move to Otomi Martial Arts provides many benefits to students and the dojo. In addition to the great mat space, the facility is conducive to extra practices and events. Most importantly, we are excited about the energy and synergies that are sure to result from our new relationship with Otomi.

Before our move to Otomi Martial Arts, Kiryu Aikido Colorado practiced at Lone Tree Rec Center for nearly seven years. Over the past year, the South Suburban Parks and Rec District began to focus less on providing a range of classes for diverse student populations and more on classes that appeal to general audiences. This shift welcomed in a new and invigorating opportunity with Otomi, and we’re thrilled at all that lies ahead.

Please stay tuned for details on our upcoming open house and other events.

We welcome everyone — current students, former students, and new students who want to experience this great martial art — to come see our new space, meet some new martial arts colleagues at Otomi, and enjoy practice in an uplifting and positive atmosphere.

Onegaishimasu!
